Method 1 - Open EWS from within HP Smart Mobile Application
Sometimes opening EWS from within HP Smart works and other times, the connection kind of wanders away into the dirt.
Open the HP Smart app -
Tap on Printer to open Printer Settings > Scroll to Advanced > Advanced Settings (this is EWS)
General Example - HP Smart - Mobile (iOS) Menu - Printer SettingsHP_Smart_Mobile_Printer_Settings_2
Method 2 - Open EWS from your Browser
If HP Smart acts like it will open EWS but balks, spins, hangs, or refuses,
Bypass the app and use your Browser.
Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
Section Paper > Trays > click on Tray to configure
AND (in addition and as available)
Section Print > Default Print Options > Select default tray
NOTE:
Based on the information I have, the path in EWS to the Tray and Paper Settings as shown in the examples.
Could be different - ?
