Microsoft Windows 11

I own an HP Officejet Pro 8620 printer.

For some time now, I have been trying to photocopy and scan 8.5" x 14" (legal size) documents in duplex mode without success.

Unfortunately, a problem occurs every time. I am told that either the printer does not allow printing or scanning of this type of format (8.5 inches by 14 inches) in duplex mode, or it prints partially as if the requested format was 8.5 inches by 11 inches.

I would like to know if my printer allows me to photocopy and scan documents of 8.5 inches by 14 inches (legal size) in duplex mode and, if so, how to do it, since I manage to photocopy and scan documents of 8.5 inches by 11 inches duplex without any problems

I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi,

Duplex printing or copying is supported on US Letter / A4 paper, it does not support a US Legal sized paper.

You may find its specifications below:

You may manually copy or scan using the ADF with Legal Paper, to copy place a page on the ADF and copy 1 > 1 Sides, then reload the other side of the original and reload the printed paper facing up with the top edge into the tray.

To scan launch the scan from the HP Scan Software or HP Smart and scan the first side, then reload the other side and click the Plus sign to scan the next page, once you are done click the Save button to complete the scan job.
