Hi @Wendywitch,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Here are the steps to resolve the issue with your HP printer and clear the print job.

Cancel the Stuck Print Job

  • From Your Phone:
    • Open the app you used to print (e.g., HP Smart or Print settings).
    • Look for the print queue and cancel the stuck job.
  • From a Computer (Optional):
    • On a Windows PC: Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers. Right-click your printer and select See What's Printing, then cancel the print job.
    • On a Mac: Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and cancel the job in the print queue.

Power Off the Printer

  • Turn the printer off using the Power button. If it does not respond:
    • Disconnect the power cable from the printer while it is still on.
    • Wait for 1-2 minutes.
    • Reconnect the power cable and turn the printer back on.

Check the Paper Tray

  • Ensure the paper is properly aligned in the tray and that no paper jams are causing the flashing lights.
  • Pull out and reinsert the tray securely.

Reset the Printer

  • Disconnect the printer from power and remove all connected cables.
  • Wait for 5-10 minutes for a hard reset.
  • Plug the power cable back in and restart the printer.

Reconnect to WiFi (if needed)

  • If the printer shows as "Unavailable," check that it is still connected to the WiFi.
  • Use the HP Smart app or printer control panel to reconnect if needed.

Test the Printer

  • Once the printer is powered on and idle, try printing a test page to confirm the issue is resolved.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
