Hi @holagabriela,
Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community! I came across your post and wanted to assist you. I see from the post that you are having issues with duplex printing on your HP OfficeJet 3830 printer. Don't worry I'll be really glad to help you with this,
After reviewing your post I did check and found that there are no full feature software available for your Product this could be the possible reason why this option is faded out. However, there is a work around.
- Choose File from Menu Bar.
- Select Print.
- Choose a Printer. Click the Arrows Next to "Printer" to see other available printers.
- Click on the Copies and Pages drop-down menu.
- Select Layout.
- Locate Two-Sided in the Layout window. Choose On. (It will be dimmed if the chosen printer doesn't allow two-sided printing).
- Click Print to print your document.
