I am using macos monterey 12.1. Ive been through all the articles and online support. I have reinstalled macos and contacted apple support but they have nothing to suggest. Ive used hp easy start to install the suggested driver and the hp uninstaller to clean all the files and reinstall but still nothing. The printer app says connecting to printer and waiting for the printer to become available but nothing goes through. The usb cable is connected firmly and I bought a new one to be sure that that is not the problem. Ive reset the setting on the printer. The hp scan app works fine though on the mac! I tried printing the test page on the hp utility app and nothing happens, there it says that if the printer wont do the job then it is a printer problem and not a mac problem. Please help someone.

after a long time of waiting for the printer to print is says this
Unable to Communicate with Printer. The print job could not be completed because the printer is unavailable or not connected. Check your cable or wireless connection, and make sure the printer is powered on and ready. To cancel the print job, press Cancel on printer.

please download and install below drivers:
Once completing the installation open System Preferences > Security & Privacy, look for any option to allow the HP extension within the General tan, if no such option appear skip this step.
Now go to Printers & Scanners and remove any copy of your printer, now click plus and re-add it, be sure to select the printer model within the Use drop-down menu and check if you may see any difference then,
