HP DeskJet 2622 - Warranty expired 2019. Printer Given to Me. Downloaded HP Smart App, followed instructions to set up printer to MAC. Able to print test page. Unable to print actual pdf.doc. And I don't understand why the red/orange button beside the ((i)) icon keeps flashing. Ink is good, paper is inserted correctly. WiFi connected. Job que will start the process, then will report printing, but nothing, the only print that comes out is a "test" print.
I wanted to speak to someone in person, and it seems this is not an option.
Thank you.

@MW722, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I see that you are not able to print from the Mac. To assist you better,
- Which application are you trying to print from? The preview or Adobe?
- Have you tried printing different types of documents like Word, emails, or Webpages and check if the issue persists?
Try making a standalone copy from the flatbed glass and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.
Update the printer firmware
Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your Mac.
Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
Also, check for any software updates on Mac

KUMAR0307,
I think I solved the issue, I am unable to print due to not being enrolled in the HP Instant Ink? The person who originally owned this printer must have been enrolled in the HP Instant Ink Program. The current black and color ink supply is good and when I attempt to troubleshoot printing, via the HP app (since I have a MAC), I receive a message about the instant ink.
I will look into this enrollment, unsure if I will enroll or not. Looks like I can purchase standard ink or toner supplies. I will let you know either option solves my issue.
Thank you.

Kumar,
I was unable to print due to the printer’s previous ownership of instant ink program.
I purchased regular ink cartridges. Installed and am able to print. Unsure if I will enroll in the instant ink program. Will depend on the volume of printing I need to do.
Regards,
Maggie

@MW722
Glad to know that you are able to print now. Yes, if the printer is enrolled in Instant Ink, the previous owner has to delete the printer from his account for you to re-enroll.
Regular ink cartridges will work fine.
Keep me posted for any other assistance.
