My printer, iPad, iPhone, MacBook and Dell Laptop (Windows 10) are all connected to the same network.  This is verified on every devices by viewing the name of the network and connection status.  Plus, we only have one network.  The printer has displayed everything is connected and good.

When attempting to print every device says the printer is offline.  When using the HP Smart App, the printer states it is “unavailable”.  Screenshot:

When trying to search for the printer I get the error “No Air Printers Found!”, see screenshot:

However, when selecting the SP Account Icon from the bottom tray of icons and viewing that page, it states the printer is connected and ready to print.  See screenshot:

I am unable to print anything anywhere using the HP Smart App or my Dell Laptop using Windows 10.  I get errors stating “No Air Printer Found”.  See  Dell Laptop screenshot:

Sometimes the App magically recognizes my printer and it is connected while looking at the App but once I switch to the document I want to print, it goes offline immediately and I get the “No Air Printer Found” errors again.

Other times, like right now, I am able to print from my iPad and iPhone.  I am still unable to print from my Dell Laptop using Windows 10 as it states my printer is offline (see above screenshot).

Yesterday, I wasn’t able to print for an hour and my network was online.   Then finally I was able to print again for no apparent reason.  This is all seemingly so random, I just want to be able to consistently print when needed.  Any suggestions are appreciated!  Thank you!

Hi,

There might be any other range extender, mesh network, etc, the name bsec network is broadcasted several times, regardless of the 5GHz network name which is different indeed, the printer show the attention as there are several broadcasts of the specific SSID, this is related with your problem as the printer and other devices are likley connected to a different SSID which cannot be controlled, the printer connection is not stable due to this double SSID scenario which prevents a stable connectivity.

If there are any other range extenders, mesh units, etc. try unplugging it and check if the attention disappears, then restart both the printer and the other device and check for any difference while trying to print and resolve the network setup problem to allow a stable connection.

Hi,

Please try printing and evaluating a Wireless Network Test report, may it list any warring or attention on its header?

Please let me know the results,

Currently, I can print from everything but I haven’t changed or done anything.

I ran the report and the only problem I see is that it states “more than one access point/wireless router has been found that matches your wireless name (SSID).”  I am not sure what this means or what to do.  We only have one network titled “bsec network” however our internet company also has a 5g connection which they label “bsec  network 5g”.
