I've searched and reviewed all the troubleshooting documents but have been unable to resolve.

We had a paper jam, and after clearing, experienced the Cartridge Error - "Until all cartridges are replaced....."

The printer does not recognize any of the cartridges as being in place.  

I have followed all steps - unable to resolve.  Replacement printer head 322A is no longer available.

 

Any other suggestions before punting and looking for a new printer?

Hi,

Please download and install HP Smart:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/HPSmart3.0.pkg

 

Open HP Smart, click the Plus sign and add your printer.

Click the Printer icon and then select Supported Cartridges.

 

Could you see the same region listed for both the Supported and Installed section? (e.g. Z10, Z20)

 

If the answer is no please let me know and do not take any further action.

 

If the answer is yes, try following steps 7 to 10 below:

Thanks for your response.

The ftp link you provided does not take me to a viable site.

I have searched for HP Smart for my computer (mac) and have not had luck finding it.

I have visited the printer's web page and there is little helpful info there.

It is not recognizing any of the cartidges as being installed, despite replacing all with new genuine cartridges, and removing, cleaning and replacing the printer head multiple times.

Thanks, Shlomil, that worked.

It shows as cartridges missing, despite having cartridges installed.

If any step such as reseating or even replacing the printhead did not help, I afraid this is a hardware failure which requires servicing or replacing the printer.
