hey!  what is the solution?  I want my phone, which is on 5G to print to my printer, which isn't.  I can't change the settings because somehow they all got locked.  I own the printer and installed it myself,  but had some trouble and HP support got involved.

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂 I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.

Please let us know which phone you are using and whether you're using the HP Smart App to print.

If you're using the HP Smart App, please uninstall and reinstall the App. If the issue still persists, please restore the Printer's network settings:

From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ). 2. Touch Network Setup. 3. Touch Restore Network Settings. A message appears stating that the network defaults will be restored. 4. Touch Yes. 5. Print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset

Post this, try printing again.

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!

It looks like you were interacting with @Betty0610, but she is out for the day & I'll be glad to help you out.

I believe the network settings has been locked, I'm afraid, we have to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. I've send you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
