HP Easy Start exist in Vers. 2.9.3 and is also described as such. If I download this "Vers. 2.9.3" I only get Vers. 2.4.

Sending a question to HP seems to be impossible.

Yes, the file available for download from HP is a very old 2.4.0 version that does not run under the new versions of macOS. The description says that it should be version 2.9.3.01 but in reality the download link (https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip or https://support.hp.com/de-de/drivers/selfservice/hp-pagewide-pro-477dw-multifunction-printer-series/...) is the version 2.4.0 from 2016. I have installed a version 2.9.1 of "HP Easy Start" from my backup and this version works as expected.

thank you very much. 

I uninstalled HP Easy Start - now the program no longer asks for updates and everything works fine.

But if I require the driver again, I'll try the link.
