So i looked this up and found 2 posts about it and 2018. It appears HP didn't take the customers concerns into consideration because here we are 2 years later. I searched but could not find a solution to the updates printing out a page after every update. Apparently HP just likes to waste it's costumers ink and paper. So is there a way to turn off the printing of a full page in color without turning off the auto updates? I mean I doubt it since you didn't fix this yet. I didn't want another hp after I didn't get any valuable help with the last one but this was a gift so I'm giving it a shot and now it's wasting my ink and paper. How are you going to remedy this HP? How often does this thing update every month. How many pages of my instant ink will it be wasting. I tired to submit this and I saw a post from 2019, it appears you only get help if you complain about it, What kind of customer service is this? I didn't even think about it using my pages for the month and going over so i get charged for more pages. Not environmentally friendly at all as others have stated.

@MarvelChic, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

To assist you better, can you attach a picture of the sheet that is printed.

Are you using a Win PC or a MAC? We will have to check the printer settings through a computer.

Keep me posted.
