Purchased new HP all in one desktop, cannot print from online or programs such as MYOB. Click on print and the properties box shows document spooling, then nothing just stays on this continuous. I have ran the Doctor Scan still not working. Worked perfectly using previous HP all in one. Plugged in usb, have tried using wireless, everything is installed. Please help, I am so far behind in my accounting due to waiting on a new desktop. Thank you.

Hi @Susie2015,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I see that you cannot print from MYOB, or online programs, with your HP Officejet Pro 8610, on Windows 10. And, I am happy to help!
It is possible the issue could be with the MYOB software, as well as the online programs. To verify this, what happens when your print from NotePad and/or MS Paint?
In the meantime, please try the following steps in this order:
- Uninstall the software. Uninstalling the Printer Software.
- Clean boot the computer. How to perform a clean boot in Windows.
- Disable any Antivirus programs. Disable Antivirus software.
- Disable any firewall programs. Windows Firewall from start to finish.
- Create a new user account. Managing User Accounts and Logins (Windows 10).
- Reinstall using the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows.
Hope these steps are helpful, and thank you for posting!

Thank you, I have already solved the problem. I had already performed all the tasks you have mentioned, also spent hours of time working with several types of support over the phone. Turns out the antivirus program was blocking the printing and saving side of things only through MYOB. Very disappointed though with MYOB support, the only logical answer and suggestion was to purchase the new version and upgrade to what I was using. I had already done this and still had the same problem. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the upgrade I purchased using the links and still had the same problem. Not impressed, an amateur like me solving the mystery but in the meantime have wasted a large cost due to upgrading for no reason!

Hi
I'm still having the same problem, have tried what they suggested but way too complicated and didn't seem to work anyway. I have to pause the anti virus program by right clicking on the icon and pausing temporarily. It only happens for certain invoices and invoicing through emails through outlook sometimes. I use ESet Smart Security. Good luck 🙂

Hi Susie,
I have found a solution that seems to be working so far, I changed a setting within ESET Security - I am using Version 9.
I turned on "Advanced heuristics/DNA/Smart Signatures" , this is located under the pathway below:
Setup>Advanced Setup>Real-time File System Protection>Treatsense Parameters>Advanced heuristics/DNA/Smart Signatures
It runs the code in a virtual environment first - I assume that once it has run the code in the virtual environment it then determines that printing is safe and allows it to go ahead.
Good luck!!!
