My printer starts printing on its own. It prints code and then sheets of random letters and symbols. How do I stop this from happening. It wastes so much paper and then my printer won't print from my back office software. I have to reboot my system and my printer.

A model number of printer would help with this. A first step would be to delete the driver and reinstall the printer from a fresh download of drivers from support.hp.com.
