I have cleaned the cartridges via the Menu, aligned the cartridges twice, and removed both cartridges and cleaned the bottom (even though they looked clean already).

Nothing has helped.  Still have thin vertical lines from top to bottom of page.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Does this happen while copying from the ADF or the scanner glass?

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic report:

  1. Load U.S. letter or A4 size, unused, plain white paper into the input tray.

  2. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup.

    The Setup menu displays.

  3. Touch Reports, and then touch Print Quality Report.

A Print Quality Diagnostic page prints.

Let me know if you see the lines on this report.

If you have spare ink cartridges, do try using those.

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
