I've just bought an HP Envy 6000 after reading loads of positive reviews from various sources.
Printing plain black and white (e.g. Amazon return labels) was very fast, as expected.
However, we've just tried to print off some 6x4 photos, and each one is painfully slow - around 15 minutes.
We've tried printing from two different MacBooks over wireless, and also from two different iPhones.
The Mac itself says the job has been sent to the printer within a minute or so, so it looks like a printer issue rather than a Mac or wifi problem.
Anyone else experienced this, and is there a known fix?

@ArtieLeech, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand the printer is printing photos slow. To assist you better,
- Which application are you trying to print from? Use the HP Smart app to print.
- Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word, or Webpages and check if the issue persists?
- Try making a standalone copy from the flatbed glass and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.
Update the printer firmware
