Just bought a new Envy Pro 6400 and installed it. It is super, super slow in printing - maybe 10 or 15 minutes a page. So I uninstalled and disconnected it, and as per the troubleshooting advice on HP website, even uninstalled HP Easy Smart. Reconnected, plugged it in, checked the settings (now relying on Apple Secure AirPrint) and all seem absolutely as it should be No weird lights or any reason to think something is amiss, except that the printing remains as very slow as ever! Help!

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Ensure that the printer is up to date with its firmware and Mac is up to date with its software. If you are unsure you may use the links below to update the printer firmware and Mac software:
Remove and add the printer
Click the Apple menu, and then select System Preferences.
Depending on your operating system version, click Print & Fax, Print & Scan, or Printers & Scanners.
Click the name of your printer, click the Minus sign and then delete the printer.
Click the Plus sign and then click Add Printer or Scanner.
Click the Use or Print Using box, and then select AirPrint
Click Add to add the printer to the list.
Try to print.

So very sorry to be so slow in responding, but thank you for the suggestion! Finally got around to removing the printer as you suggested, then added it again and it remains as slow as ever unfortunately. Anything else I can try?

Is the speed the same while copying or while printing an internal page/report from the Printer?
If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accept as solution" button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Thanks!
Have a great day!
