My Word 2010 Printer Properties page differs from yours. I have three tabs, Printing Shortcuts, Features, and Advanced.
This is one more way that my Word 2010 differs from my friend's Word 2010 that prints duplex properly. Microsoft tells me that all Word 2010 versions have the same features but this seems not to be the case.

That has not been a problem for me. I'm still under warranty and am working with HP support. If and when I get a solution I'll post it. It's looking like not all versions of Word 2010 work the same way concerning duplex printing, at least with the Officejet Pro 8000. Stay tuned. If I get a solution to my problem maybe it will help with yours.

I have an OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
When printing double-sided, borderless brochures, (PDF file) the printer somtimes prints one side, flips the page over and instead of printing the second side, ejects the page and reports a paper jam (when there's not really one.) Do you know what is causing this?
Thank you for your time.
Regards,
Rodrigo

Try the troubleshooting steps in this page. Also make sure the duplexer is snapped securely in place. I would suggest removing the duplexer and reinstalling it, making sure it snaps in place on both ends.

I just called HP and got the printer replaced. Nothing worked. The internal waste in resevoir overflowed and the printer started leaking. Perhaps some of the waste ink damaged paper sensors or something. HP should really make the internal resevior removable for easy emptying.

When printing in duplex mode it prints smaller than just printing one side of the page at a time, tried everything to make it print as shown in preview but unable to cure the problem.
All settings are right so it should print.

I have a photosmart 6515. It suddenly started duplex printing every multipage document by default. Can't figure out how to get it to default to one-sided printing. Went to printer properties and where it says Print on both sides the box reads 'none'. Is there another place that orders duplex printing?
Second issue, doesn't seem that there is an option to create a custom paper size. When printing on a paper that is not one of the listed standard sizes it detects the difference and won't print. Is there a fix for this?
Thank you,
Gail

I'm using Win 7 and Word 10, but I don't get that same option menu...mine doesn't have the "i" anywhere (and no "finishing" tab)...but I'm also having problems duplexing from Word; it says it's printing pages 6/2, for example, but stalls out while it says it's printing. I have an HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m. Any help is greatly appreciated!
