My printer no longer connects to my wifi network.

Worked fine up until yesterday.

My printer's wifi icon is blinking. I am able to go in and see my wifi network but when I put in my password to connect I get a message that says: Trying to connect to network, connection problem - No Filtering.I went through restoring the network settings (below), didn't work. Any ideas?

  1. From the home screen of your printer control panel, touch the Wireless icon .
  2. Touch the Setup icon .
  3. Touch Restore Network Defaults or Restore Network Settings, and then touch Yes to confirm your selection.
  4. After the default network settings are restored, touch the back arrow, touch Wireless Settings, and then touch Wireless Setup Wizard.
The printer searches for available networks.
  5. Touch the name of your wireless network.

Greetings and Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Appreciate you trying the steps. Don't worry, I'm here to help!

Let's try these steps -

Step 1 Reboot the devices -
1) Turn off the Router, Printer, and computer/ mobile devices.
2) Wait for 60 seconds.
3) Turn on the Router first and wait for all the lights to stabilize.
4) Turn on the printer and allow it to configure itself.
5) Turn on the computer/ mobile devices.

Step 2 Update the printer's firmware -
Connect the printer and computer using a USB. Here's the firmware link.

If the router has a WPS push button, try these steps -

1) Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for more than three seconds to start WPS push mode. The Wireless light starts blinking.
2) Press the WPS button on your router.
NOTE: THE MOMENT YOU PRESS THE WIRELESS BUTTON ON YOUR PRINTER, WITHIN 30 SECONDS YOU SHOULD PRESS THE WPS BUTTON ON THE ROUTER.

If this step is not successful, then we need to first connect the printer to a computer using a USB and then convert the wired connection to wireless as the printer does not have a control panel to enter the Wi-Fi password. Please refer to this link for steps.

Hope this helps!

Let me know how that goes.
