Some of you may have also experienced:

after updating  OS to WIN11, LASERJET PRO- M201dw -  (CF456A) lost the ability to duplex print.

Is there a workaround?

It appears HP may NOT be updating the M201DW driver to accommodate WIN11.

Will I have to revert to Win10 for full LASERJET PRO- M201dw -  (CF456A) driver services?

A common cause of this is the driver fails to detect the duplex abilities of the printer.

On your PC, go to control panel>devices and printers and right click on the icon for your printer and select "printer properties" from the drop down menu. Click on the device settings tab and scroll down till you see the duplex option and make sure it says installed, change it to installed if it does not.

Not if you have a MIcrosoft driver installed and not an HP driver you may not see these options. Click on the about tab to see what driver is installed.

Hi @rjl24,

I'd like to help!

I understand you are unale to perform duplex printing.

HP LaserJet Pro M201dw printer full features driver for windows 11 is not available from the HP website. However, you can install the printer using windows built-in drivers

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Thank you!

I tried WINDOWS built-in drivers.

Wirelessly this M201dw does not print nor does it offer duplex printing.

I have a wireless setup.

Please request of HP to update the M201dw driver to match WIN11 needs in order to access duplex printing.  Thank you.

I needed to hardwire my PC to my printer (bought a 15-foot cable) to enable duplex printing.

Could not and still can not duplex print wirelessly, but for now, I am happy to be able to do so with the cable.

Thank you very much for your assistance.
