Hi @MB2366,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're unable to locate the WPS PIN for your HP Officejet 8010e printer, there are a few steps you can take to try and resolve this.
- Check Documentation: Sometimes the WPS PIN is provided in the printer's user manual or setup guide. Check any documentation that came with your printer for information on where to find the WPS PIN.
- Look on the Printer: Some HP printers have the WPS PIN printed on a label or sticker located either on the back or bottom of the printer. Look carefully around the printer for any such label.
- Check Printer Settings: Navigate through the printer's menu or settings on the printer's control panel. Sometimes, printers have an option to display the WPS PIN directly on the control panel or in the settings menu.
- Use WPS Button Instead: If your router supports it, you can typically use the WPS button on both the printer and the router to establish a connection without needing to enter a PIN.
Remember that the WPS PIN is typically only required for connecting to a wireless network using the WPS method. If you're unable to find it or use it, you can usually still connect your printer to your network manually by selecting your network and entering the Wi-Fi password.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
