Hello,
I have registered my newly, on 14.04.2023 purchased, Laserjet at HP and had to find out afterwards, that on the warranty and service status page wrong data are. On page is, with correct serial number and Medellbezeichnung, start date: 15.12.2022 and with end date 13.03.2024. I can not understand these dates. My printer is new according to the internal status log - i.e. printed and scanned pages = 0.
I have just contacted HP support by phone. Apart from the very poor German and the choppy sentence formation, the gentleman was not trustworthy.
He stated that the 14.04.2023 is stored in his system as the purchase date for the serial number, but that he does not know the website "Check warranty or service status" on the HP site. Hello? 🙈
Can possibly of the HP employees reading along here help me.

Hello Tomislav,
thanks for the link, however this is the same page I used.
But what is crazy is that when I go to your link I see the correct data. If I go through my link (DE page) I get the wrong data (see screenshot, on the left your link, on the right my account).

It's something wrong with DE database. I would highly recommend you to check for a 3-year warranty care pack UB9S6E
The cost of a care pack will be cheaper than a printer repair after the warranty is expired.

My guess is that the early date shown is the date it was first entered in the system when it was manufactured. It is not unusual for products to spends months in storage before being sold.
