Hello,

     My grandmother purchased a printer for me a couple years ago and she also included the warranty. The warranty finally expired a couple months ago. I went to use my printer and an error message saying "Check Your Account: A problem occurred with your HP account and you will be unable to print until the issue is resolved." 

     I then created an account and added my printer's serial number. I spent about an hour calling and chatting with virtual AI agents an got nowhere. 

     Finally, I was connected to an agent, but it was in Sales. The Sales Agent told me I was in the wrong area (obviously), and that he would transfer me to Support. When I was transferred the machine hung up on me.

     I then tried calling another Support number. This time I was asked to verbally give me Serial Number and it transferred me to an Agent. The Agent got my[Personal Information Removed] this time and verified my information. He then told me I would be on hold for about 1-2 minutes. After 5 minutes passed I was hung up again. There seems to be a pattern here of HP creating a problem, not fixing the problem, and then avoiding fixing the problem. Can anyone please help with this issue? I just want to print again!

Hello, My mother-in-law is experiencing the exact same error/issue. She is also unable to even make a copy using the printer, and receives the same message when doing so. She said she has never signed up for the Instant Ink when she created her HP Account.
