Hi @SB2816,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I understand that you are getting error B83C12FC. I'd like to help!

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

How is the printer connected? USB/Wireless

Have you tried to perform a Hard reset bypassing a surge protector?

Have you tried to update the printer firmware?

In the meantime, let's try these steps here:

Perform a Hard reset on the printer and make sure that the printer is connected directly to the wall outlet and not to the surge protector.

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

Remove the USB cable, if present.

Wait for 2-3 minutes, and press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.

Now plug back the power cable straight into a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord and then plug back the power cord to the printer.

Turn on the printer and wait till the warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.

would start by checking the installed printer software by downloading and running the HP Print and Scan Doctor. This tool can diagnose and fix many printing and printer software-related issues. Please use this link to help you with that information: http://hp.care/2biN2XE

If your printer is connected wirelessly, make sure to temporarily connect the device with USB and then follow the link to install the latest firmware update available for your printer, using this link here

If the issue persists, I would suggest here to follow the steps suggested in the support document for - HP Printers - 'Ink System Failure' or '0x ...' Error Code Displays

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!

First, thank you for taking the time to reply, especially as extensively as you did. I did solve the issue, kind of. My printer was setup properly, connected properly and was able to print from other pages. Apparently it was the site itself. I was trying to print from an email sent. This item was very difficult to print but sorted it out by using Google Docs. Once again, thank you.
