The WPS pin would be from your router.  Typically it will be printed on a label on the router.

Where is the WPS PIN on my router?

I have a lot of numbers on my router which one is the WPS PIN?

I just checked a couple routers here and both had a label on the back that listed "WPS Pin" and then the number.  What is the model of your router?  Are you trying to connect a printer?  What is the printer model?

After many, many, many, many hours of trying reinstall the ENVY 5660 printer driver that mysteriously disappeared from Windows 10 (thank you Windows for whatever "helpful update" made this happen after a year or two of proper functioning), I finally found this WPS PIN that so many threads say is not needed appears on the printer screen. I downloaded the software from 123.hp.com first - don't know if that mattered.  Then I went to Add Devices on my laptop, found the printer, and when I clicked on that icon the screen asked for the printer WPS PIN. At that point, the printer screen showed a message saying something like "A device has requested to connect with pri nter" and the number was there. Make sure the printer is on before you start and be near the printer while performing the task as the printer message disappears after a few minutes. Good luck!

There are two ways to connect the printer wirelessly:  either connect the printer to the router and connect that way, or a direct connection from the PC to the printer using direct connect.  The first method needs the WPS PIN from the router, the latter needs the WPS PIN displayed on the printer.

The document here may help:  https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06006790

Frankly, I would not use the direct connect method to connect a PC to the printer, as it generally requires giving up the wireless internet connection of the PC to connect to the printer instead.
