- What is the cost of replacing one or both of my printheads?

My printhead alignment has failed 7 times. I have cleaned the printheads, calibrated linefeed. The online supports points to replacing the printhead.
Warranty expired in 2013. Purchased Sept 2011.
Will replacing one or both printheads solve my problem (need the cost to do this) or should I buy a new printer?
Thanks,

Hello, @abj4866 – Hope you are well!
Thank you for reaching out! I’d be glad to help you 🙂
I see that you are having print quality issues / alignment issues with the Officejet 8500 printer.Have you tried to clean the print head manually: http://hp.care/2efwTtX
Alternatively, go through http://hp.care/2erIFkf to make sure you have performed all the steps.
If the issue persists, I would personally recommend replacing the printer and not just the print head. This is an older model machine and replacing both the print head will cost you more and also does not guarantee the issue resolution. Hence please go for a printer replacement / upgrade.
Let me know how that goes. I’ll watch for your reply!
Cheers 🙂
