Are you trying to connect to your own router or are you trying to connect to the printer via Wireless Direct?

Hi,

I am trying to connect direct by selecting the wifi option which displays as "Hp DeskJet 3545", on selecting this it prompts for password, unfortunately i don't remember the password and the booklet which comes with HP printer which has the password to connect is misplaced

Manoj

I downloaded and read the User Guide for you.  It says to print out the Network Config page to see your password.  Page 7 of the User Guide on the HP web site.

Print network configuration page.
The network configuration page will display the network status, hostname, network name, and more

1. Press the Wireless button to access the Wireless Status menu.

2. Press the button next to Settings to access the Wireless Settings menu.

3. Select Print Report, and then select Configuration Page.

Cut out the password and tape it to the top of your printer.
