The printer ask to replace a cartridge, and I could hear the printer having a hard time to load it. then it show me a message :

there is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn the printer off .

I cant even go further in the process, the printer is stuck, but if I put back the empty old cartridge, everything is fine,  just show its empty and therefore cannot print....is it a defected cartridge?. I bought it in a pack with the other color. would be the first time....weird.

Hi,

It is likely a defective cartridge.

 

Please return to the retailer with the cartridge and its proof of purchase to send it to HP and claim its warranty:
