Hi @doubLLe,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

This issue might be related to the printer settings or the way the files are being processed before printing. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the problem.

Check Printer Settings:

Printer Properties:

  1. Open the Control Panel on your computer.
  2. Go to Devices and Printers.
  3. Right-click on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8715 and select Printing preferences.
  4. Look for any settings related to color or print quality. Ensure they are set to the default or standard settings.

Print Quality:

  1. In the Printing preferences dialog, check the Quality tab.
  2. Make sure the quality is set to Normal or Best instead of Draft.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Go to the HP Support website.
  • Search for your printer model and download the latest drivers and software.
  • Install the updated drivers and restart your computer.

Check Adobe PDF Settings:

PDF Settings:

  1. Open Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
  2. Go to File > Print.
  3. Check the Advanced settings in the print dialog.
  4. Ensure that no special color management or background settings are applied.

Page Setup:

  1. Go to File > Print.
  2. Click on Page Setup or Properties.
  3. Ensure that the page setup matches the paper size and type you are using.

Check Google Chrome Print Settings:

  • Print Dialog:
    1. Open the document or page you want to print in Google Chrome.
    2. Press Ctrl + P (or Cmd + P on a Mac) to open the print dialog.
    3. Click on More settings.
    4. Ensure that options like Background graphics are unchecked if you don't want them printed.

Perform a Printer Calibration:

  • Many HP printers have built-in calibration options. Refer to your printer’s manual or HP’s support website for instructions on performing a calibration.

Reset Printer to Factory Defaults:

  • If all else fails, you can try resetting the printer to its factory settings. This will clear any custom settings that might be causing the issue.
    1. On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup or Settings.
    2. Look for Printer Maintenance or Restore Defaults.
    3. Follow the prompts to reset the printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
