@JLS33, Welcome to HP Support Community!
Have you tried using the preview app on your Mac?
Could you try printing the PDF as an image? Here is how you do it- https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/quick-fix-print-pdf-image.html

@cangleine, Welcome to HP Support Community!
We will have to isolate the issue in order to resolve it-
Which application are you trying to print from?
Are you able to make photocopies on the printer?
Have you tried printing using the preview app?
Meanwhile, ensure that the printer is up to date with its firmware and Mac is up to date with its software. If you are unsure you may use the links below to update the printer firmware and Mac software:
Try printing.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Same issue with an HP 9010 series. Firmware up to date and same for MacOS 10.15.5. Printing is a problem with pdf files. Trying with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC version 2020.009.20067. Trying to print two files - both blocked. Looked at the HP embedded web server pages but didn't really know what I was looking for. Went back to Acrobat Reader and actually got one file to print. Second file still wouldn't print. It has happened several times in the past.
