Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 6968 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm trying to print a double-sided document with automatic double-sided printing.  When I print the document, page one is printed on its own sheet; page 2 is printed as the front side of sheet 2, and page 3 is the back side of sheet 2.  This is a problem and I can't figure out how to fix it.

 

Edit:  This is a problem specific to some documents but not others.

Check for a setting called alternate letterhead mode as that might be creating the issue you are seeing.
