HP OfficeJet Pro 8720
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

The print menu for email has changed. Now when printing both sides it cuts off the footer on page 1 and the header on page 2. This does not happen if printing on one side only.

That has no effect.

Let me be clear, I know how to find the multi-page buttons. It is how they print which is not satisfactory. It prints the header on page 1 only. It prints the footer on the last page only. It prints from the top to bottom without any margin. The "print preview" looks normal but comes out as described. This applies to email only, not other types of documents. This applies to this printer only, not my little one at home.

Since this happens only with email, it isn't a printer hardware issue. Try with a different email or another browser.

This only happens with this printer. My home printer (a different HP model) does not have this issue with the same email program.

Also, it doesn't matter which  email I use.

Could I uninstall and reinstall the HP software?

@DMFLO

Yes, you can uninstall and reinstall the printer and see if that helps.

Thanks!

I would suggest you try the Windows built-in drivers. Follow the steps below:

•    Go to Control Panel - Devices and printers - Click on "Add printer" and follow the on-screen instructions.

•    When the page prompts for the drivers, select "Windows update". The driver list will be updated.

•    Click HP, Hewlett Packard, or Hewlett-Packard in the Manufacturer pane, and then click the name of your printer in the Printers pane.

Refer to this document HP Printers - Installing and Using the Windows Built-in Print Driver for help

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
