I need to know whre to place the paper in the printer to print a 5x7 picture. My 5660 printer only has a paper tray for 4x6. I tried putting the paper in the main tray on the right rear side and nothing happened. Then I put it on the left side (in the back) and got a small triangle to print. I've tried one page, many pages and somewhere in between. No change.
I'm sure th ere's a simple answer, but I cannot find it.
Thanks!

Hello Barb,
You have described what has been tried very well, congrats. Please get back if successful (or not). Replies are helpful for future reference or other readers. If confusing, get back also. I can provide illustrations.
You will notice, if you remove paper from the main tray, that the plastic guides on both sides will both slide inwardly so that the smaller size sheets end up in the center. So place the 5x7 sheets with the narrow (5 inch) side in first, with the glossy side down (the finish side). Use minimum of 5 sheets; maybe no more than 10?
You have to make sure the settings in the Print Dialog are correct.
You need to make the paper type (5x7) agree in several spots in the Print Dialogs. I work from Pictures file (Click on File Explorer > Pictures.). Select a the photo you wish (see **) by left clicking TWICE to open; right click on the pic to open a dialog. Select Print which opens a dialog; make your selections for Tray (main tray), paper size (5x7); paper type (HP Photo Paper or plain if you are testing); scroll down for photo size (output) and color (or B&W); click "More Settings" to select borderless (On or Off). Click OK if satisfied (takes back to dialog); click Print. (** You can select multiple pics, which opens a different Dialog version) Use plain 5x7 paper for testing (5 sheets) to save paper and photo with minimum detail to save ink.
You can also print with the Win 10 Photo App (built into the software). The Charm is labeled "Photos." It opens the same dialog above. After finding the photo in the computer, left click ONCE, then right click to open the dialog. I find it harder to find photos with this app.
Print photos in Word by right clicking on the pic; select copy; and paste into Word. Then select File > Print for the Print Dialog; click Properties which opens a list of shortcuts. Select the shortcut for Photo Printing Borderless (or White Borders) then enter the paper type and size 5X7. Click on Paper/Quality and select paper source (make it MAIN TRAY); check color. Click Advanced and check the paper size 5X7. (Grayscale OFF for color). Click OK, OK until you get back to the Print Dialog, where if you click OK it will print. Select that shortcut each time you print photos. I think working in Word is easiest because it has the shortcuts (Ordinary for documents, borderless, etc.) and you can create your own shortcuts.
Any other photo software (Photoshop, etc.) will also open a similar Print Dialog, because it's part of the printer's software. Good Luck.

Hello again Barb,
So I assume that you are operational now? A check mark on one of my threads is appreciated, if the effort helped. I have this info on file and just cut and paste.
BTW, if you use the photo tray, you need to change all the settings, appropriately. Have a good day.
