Which of these two printers prints better photos on HP glossy photo paper ?
Compare with printouts from the Color LaserJet Pro M252 or M452.
Thank you

Thank you !
The ENVY 5660 has the printhead built into each cartridge ... nothing to get clogged-up in the printer.
Do you know if the 8710's cartridges have built-in printheads or must they sit in a caddy
that has a printhead where the printheads and caddy can clog-up with ink ?
Thank you

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Forums.
The Envy 5660 has a better print quality when printing photos because it is a consumerprinter.
The Officejet Pro 8710 can also print photos but it is designed for office use and hence the photo printing is not the design intent.
Envy 5660 uses disposable print cartridges, i.e. after each use, you need to buy a print cartridge even when one of the colros run out whereas the Officejet Pro 8710 has individual ink cartridges and you can replace each color that runs out individually.
Hope that helps!

Hi @DaleBr
Thanks for your questions.
The 8710 printhead are permanent printheads that are designed to last through the life of the printer.
HP has many generations of such printheads and they are robust and reliable.
We're speaking from experience, not because we're employees.
Hope that helps!
