Product: Office Jet Pro 7740

Printer has been working fine, yesterday printed an A3 colour PPT.  Today it is only printing A3 PPT in greyish/black.  Have checked all 'colour' commands are on.  Any ideas what else it could be?

Absolutely this doesn't fix the problem...in fact, my printer doesn't print at ALL even after updating the driver.   Scans just fine, though.

Reinstall not update those are different tasks.

That was a misonomer. 

 

I have installed/uninstalled/re-installed/uninstalled/reinstalled this thing so man times that I'm surprised Windows hasn't complained about it.

 

NOTHING makes any diffence.  The "Internal test-page" prints just fine, and scanning works just fine.  Windows-based test-page print does NOT work; document prints do NOT work.  The printer is effectively useless as a printer.

Not sure why this is so difficult, and why there isn't a solution for it.
