Welcome to HP forums.
Does copy work's fine?
Which device/operating system do you use?
If it's a mac, try to remove and add the printer again.
If its windows follow the steps given below:
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the “Drivers” tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the computer and download the Full Feature Software from Here and follow the onscreen Instructions.
Keep me posted. 🙂

I have gone through your Post and would like to help
Please clean the Printhead and check if that helps
-
On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setup icon
.
-
Swipe up on the display, and then touch Printer Maintenance.
-
Touch Clean Printhead, and then touch Continue.
A test page prints.
-
Examine the test page.
-
If the print quality is unacceptable, touch Clean Again to continue the next level of cleaning. Repeat these steps for the third cleaning stage, if necessary.
NOTE: If the printhead is badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes before you perform all three levels of cleaning again.
Also ensure the printer has the latest firmware. You can refer to this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168

Keep me posted how it goes

Same to me after the windows 10 update. I followed the instructions twice. Only 'monochrome' is available. No opportunity to select 'color'. Other computers in the same network can print normally. Thus it's not a printer problem. There must be a bit in the Windows code, which disable color printing. Any ideas?

@Roennych, Welcome to HP Support Community!
I see that you're unable to print in color, follow the steps below to isolate and resolve the issue-
Update the printer firmware
Download available firmware updates from the HP website
With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Check the print driver settings. Refer to the document HP Printers - Print Driver Settings Guide (Windows) for help.
If the issue persists, I recommend you delete the driver and root level and retry, follow the steps below:
1) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2) Select your HP Printer
3) Select Uninstall
4) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
6) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe”
😎 Click on the “Drivers” tab
9) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10) Select Ok
11) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12) Close Devices and Printers.
Use this link to download and install the new driver. Configure the printer and try printing.
If you're still unable to print in color, try the Windows built-in drivers. Follow the steps below:
• Go to Control Panel - Devices and Printers - Click on "Add printer" and follow the on-screen instructions.
• When the page prompts for the drivers, select "Windows update". The driver list will be updated.
• Click HP, Hewlett Packard, or Hewlett-Packard in the Manufacturer pane, and then click the name of your printer in the Printers pane.
Refer to this document HP Printers - Installing and Using the Windows Built-in Print Driver for help.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!

Mine as well seems HP and Windows is an issue I know its not the printer it is because the color option is now gone. I put it in grey-scale and now cant get it back into color. I have 2010 windows so my question is do I remove every stink-en app that is related to HP printer including apps when I go to reinstall ? I have tried reinstalling at least 10 times no go. I tried with the cd that came with unit I tried through HP online . Both thees methods the printer stooped working altogether. When I installed through windows (settings) it printed again just not in color. I ran DSCHK and it worked in color I was happy had a very important print job in morning when I woke up to print back to B/W print only. I uninstalled and reinstalled, still B/W, ran DSCHK again. Nothing. I had to have project printed at local print shop. Seems to me this is a software problem between HP and Windows .So why are you selling a product that is compatible with windows. After 30+ years a fighting you products I am done..I can not afford this I run a farmers Market and have no time for this at all.
