I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 9015. I am using MAC OS 13.4.1. I've moved my printer to a new physical location and need to connect it to a new wifi network. But the options to reset the network and WiFi are all greyed out. I went under Settings > Printer Maintenance  to try to reset to factory settings but that option is greyed out also.  Now what?

Thank you!

Hi @Annabelle0615,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I understand that you are facing connectivity issues. I’d like to help!

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Make sure, your printer and your device are on the same network as 2.4GHZ only.

Is it a private (Home network) or a public Wi-Fi connection? Is Wi-Fi direct? Or Hotspot?

Follow the steps from this document and see if that helps.

Also, update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Customer Support

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

If the Wi-Fi setup option is greyed out on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 printer, it could be due to a few possible reasons. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Restart Printer: Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for about 1-2 minutes. Then, plug it back in and turn it on. This simple restart can often resolve temporary glitches.

Check Wi-Fi Direct: The Wi-Fi setup option might be greyed out if Wi-Fi Direct is enabled. Wi-Fi Direct allows your printer to connect directly to your computer or mobile device without the need for a router or network. If Wi-Fi Direct is enabled, you may not be able to access regular Wi-Fi settings. Check your printer's control panel or settings menu for any Wi-Fi Direct settings and disable it if necessary.

I do not think you understand my problem. The options on the display panel for setting up a wifi nextwork on my OfficeJet Pro 9015 are greyed out. I can not switch the Wifi option on so therefore I can't set up a network. I then tried to reset the printer to factory instructions but that is also greyed out. So now what do I do? The options in your response below are not possible.

How do I get the wifi option to not be greyed out? How do I reset to factory settings when that option is greyed out in settings?

Please let me know what to do next. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your suggestions. But I have tried turning off the printer and unplugging it for several minutes and then plugging in and starting the printer again several times and that does not work. I also have now checked the Wifi Direct settings and that function is turned off. The wifi set up functions are greyed out and the factory reset option in settings is greyed out. How can I reset the wifi SSID name or reset up the Wifi functions when everything is greyed out?  Thank you so much for your help!
