HP DeskJet Plus 4152 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I bought an HP DeskJet Plus 4152 printer about three years ago, and it has been working fine without any issues until now. Yesterday evening, I was able to print a few pages successfully, but then it suddenly stopped working. Since then, the Wi-Fi button has been constantly blinking. Could you please help me understand why this is happening and how I can fix it?

@guntur1978, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

I understand your HP DeskJet Plus 4152 printer’s Wi-Fi button is constantly blinking, and it suddenly stopped working after printing successfully. I’ll guide you through the steps to resolve this issue.

A blinking Wi-Fi light typically indicates that the printer is not connected to a wireless network. This can happen due to:

  • A change in your Wi-Fi network (e.g., router restart or password change)
  • Printer losing saved credentials
  • Network interference or IP conflict

Step-by-Step Fix

Step 1: Restart Printer and Router

  1. Turn off your printer and unplug it from power.
  2. Restart your Wi-Fi router.
  3. Wait 30 seconds, then plug in and power on the printer.

Step 2: Reset Wireless Settings on Printer

To clear old Wi-Fi settings:

  1. Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button on the printer at the same time for 5 seconds.
  2. This will reset the wireless settings and put the printer in setup mode (Wi-Fi light will blink slowly).

Step 3: Reconnect Using HP Smart App

  1. Download or open the HP Smart app on your Windows 11 PC or mobile device: HP Smart
  2. Make sure your device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want the printer to use.
  3. Open the app and click “+” to add a printer.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer to Wi-Fi.

If the printer doesn’t show up, try temporarily disabling VPN or firewall software.

Optional: Use WPS (If Supported by Your Router)

If your router supports WPS:

  1. Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer until it starts blinking.
  2. Press the WPS button on your router within 2 minutes.
  3. The printer should connect automatically (Wi-Fi light will turn solid).
