I am trying to print documents using Word 2007. The normal word printing function has many printing option for scaling, two page printing , etc that you can access under "properties". When I click on "properties", the HP printing menu pops up instead of the Word menu and it does not contain the features I wish to use. When I am printing a pdf, the "properties" setting is available. When I am printing a Word document, it is not. How do I shut off the HP menu and keep the Word printing menu?

Hi,
When you click on File > Print and then on Properties, you should always see an HP dialog and not from Word, this is expected.
I would guess that your HP Driver may not be shown correctly and therefore lack the features you're looking for.
Try following below version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe
Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.
Try printing and check for any change, if the same remains try printing using the newly added print queue copy (Copy1) and check.
