Office met 8610

My printer and kindle fire tablet refuse to print together! This is a recent issue, since I've been print i g from this tablet for a long time. I've turned off and reset the router, I've turned off and re started the printer, I've done both at the same time! Nothing is working for me! Is it the printer? The blue light ison. It's not the tablet, since it's wirelessly online. Can anyone help me?

Thank you for posting on HP Forums 🙂

Flower_Bud is at your service.

As I understand, your printer does not print,

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you 🙂 that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

When was the last time it worked fine?

Were there any hardware/software changes made?

Is Wi-Fi light blinking or steady on the printer?

Let's try these steps to resolve the issue:

Restore the printer to the original network settings:

1. From the printer control panel, touch and slide your finger across the screen, touch Setup, and then touch Network Setup.

2. Touch Restore Network Defaults, and then touch Yes. A message appears stating that the network defaults have been restored.

3. Touch OK.

4. Print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset.

Once completed, reconnect the printer to Wi-Fi

The Wireless Setup Wizard provides an easy way to set up and manage the wireless connection to your printer.

  1. On the printer control panel, touch the Wireless icon , and then touch the Wireless Menu icon .

  2. Touch Wireless Settings, then touch Wireless Setup Wizard.

The printer searches for available wireless networks.

  3. Touch the name of your wireless network, then follow the instructions on the printer control panel to connect the printer to your wireless network.

Then try printing from your device. You could refer to this article: https://hp.care/2GGIOJ7.

Let me know how this goes,

For I shall follow-up on this case to ensure the concern has been addressed,

And your device is up and running again,

Have a great day 🙂

Cheers 🙂

I tried your reset to default . No good . The problem started a few weeks ago, no new hardware or software on anything, blue light steady. On one tablet I deleted all printers in hopes of adding them back, but now the tab can't find a printer. The place you fill out the address after you name the printer won't accept anything g I put in. The other tablet still has the mopria print thing to click on  to choose a print service, but won't print, it just says the printer's not available.  I don't get what the problem is! I appreciate any help! I don't really know what else to tell you! Shall I call hp?
