I need to hook my OfficeJet printer to my Verizon JetPack.  My laptop hooks up wirelessly, but the printer will not.

What is your exact Jetpack model?

Some models support dual-band Wi-Fi, while the printer supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band only.

Ensure your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi Profile or the Dual-Band profile is selected under Settings > Wi-Fi for your Jetpack, by selecting the 5GHz Wi-Fi Profile, it will not be visible for the printer.

Hope that may help,

Shlomi

Hi,

What do you mean by cannot hook up?

Can the printer see your Jetpack from its Wireless Setup Wizard?

Is the printer capable of connecting to the network or returns any specific error?

Assuming the printer can connect, locate its IP address from the menu and try browsing it from your computer, can the printer's EWS page be accessed through the Jetpack's network?

The printer does not see the jetpack. Will hook up to home wireless fine.  Am using direct connect to print from my laptop.

Changing the jetpack to 2.4 was the solution ... thank you so much!
