Envy 4500
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Envy 4500 will not print last page of any print job. Only error message is on monitor stating Error unable to print. For example I am currently trying to print a 3 page pdf. document. Preferences are set to print last page first. So the result is page 3 and 2 print. When page 1 starts to print the error message appears that printer is unable to print file.pdf.  Also since this problem started the printers performance changed to like an old canon bjc printer I had decades ago. I have run diagnostics, uninstalled and reinstalled repeatedly as well as updating drivers and firmware. Help!!

@Richard367, welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out.

I understand that your HP ENVY 4500 e-All-in-One Printer does not print the last page.

Don't worry as I have a few steps that should help fix this issue.

Please follow the steps provided below:

1. Search Windows for devices and click Devices and Printers in the list of results.
2. In the list of installed programs, right-click your HP printer name, and then click Printer properties.
3. You might need to click the name of your printer.
4. Select the Advanced tab.
5. Select the option "Spool Print Documents so that program finishes printing faster" and also select the option "Start Printing after the last page is spooled"
6. Click Apply, and then click OK.

Let me know how that works.

I hope you have a good day ahead.
