macOS 10.14 Mojave

i have a 2332 deskjet and using on mac, whenever i try to print the power button just starts flashing, its telling me on support page to make sure the ink door is closed but it isnt open, i have opened and closed it to try  see if that did anything but no luck. i need help here...

I'd like to help!

 

I understand  the pirnter power button flashes.

 

This condition occurs when the ink cartridge access door is open. The following control panel light pattern displays:

Resume light: Off

Power light: Blinking fast

Ink Alert light (black): Off

Ink Alert light (tri-color): Off

Power light

Make sure to close the ink cartridge access door completely.
