Hello

it is a HP139WE printer

shows account needs attention on app

i have tried all the steps

@Bruce5555, thanks for hanging in there — I know how frustrating it is when the printer nags you with “Account needs attention” and nothing seems to fix it.

 

That alert usually points to an issue with your HP Smart account or Instant Ink service. Here’s what I’d suggest, just to make sure we’ve covered all bases:

Sign out and back in to the HP Smart app.

 

On your phone or computer, go to www.hpinstantink.com, log in, and check if there’s a payment issue or an alert on your account.

On the printer, press the Wi-Fi or Information button to confirm it's online. A soft, steady blue light means it’s connected.

If that doesn’t shake off the alert, I’d recommend removing and re-adding the printer in the HP Smart app — sometimes that refresh is all it needs.

Hello, I have tried all you suggestions.

I think it is time to take this really nice printer to the recycling centre.

i am very disappointed with HP and would never buy any of their products again…..
