Hi all,

 

I have a problem with my pagewide pro 772dn.

 

I have set the password for the admin in the webfrontend. I copied the pw from pw-safe, so I´m quite sure that there is no typo. Unfortunately I can not log in with this pw. I assume that in the copied pw are some chars that are not acceptet by the printer so there is a missmatch between the printer setting and the stored pw I use to fill out the form.

 

Can someone tell me, which chars are accepted by the most current fw ? It is shown in the Webfront, but only with unlocked admin account.

 

Or can someone tell me how the printer can be fully reset (factory reset) to wipe all credentials? The Support offered my a costed repair to reset my printer, no kidding ...

 

So, any help out there ?

Ok, I found some pics from the EWS in the web. It seems, that there are no other chars, then allowed.

 

Any hints how to reset the printer to factory defaults?
