Solution
- Custom margins, like other settings, are set / adjusted in the software you use to create the document / image.
- Settings might (also) be adjusted using the software used to view / submit the job to the printer.

General examples
Custom margins can be set in Word when creating the document.
Borderless printing is supported on the paper types and sizes noted in the Specifications.
Some margin adjustment might be available in the software used to submit the job to the printer.
PDF printing using Adobe Reader DC is less tolerant of margins and does require a margin around each printed page area.
HP Smart for Windows can print borderless images where supported (paper type / size).
