Hi @Amardeep07,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

When all the lights on your HP Smart Tank 516 printer are blinking simultaneously, it typically indicates a hardware error or a problem that requires troubleshooting. Since you mentioned that the printer was recently serviced, it's possible that something might have gone wrong during that process or there could be another underlying issue.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you diagnose and potentially resolve the problem:

1. Perform a Basic Power Reset

  • Press the power button to turn off the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer and from the wall outlet.:
  • Leave it unplugged for at least 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord and turn the printer back on. Check if the issue persists.

2. Check for Paper Jams or Obstructions

  • Open all access doors (front, rear, and any other compartments).
  • Look for any jammed paper or debris inside the printer.
  • Carefully remove any paper or objects blocking the printer’s internal components.

3. Check Ink Cartridges and Printhead

  • Check if the ink cartridges are correctly installed and seated properly.
  • Ensure that there are no obstructions or issues with the cartridges or printhead.
  • Remove the cartridges and reinstall them to make sure they are secure.

4. Inspect the Printer for Errors

  • If the printer’s display shows any error messages, refer to the printer’s manual for specific guidance.
  • Visit the HP Support website and search for your printer model.
  • Download and install any available firmware updates.

5. Perform a Printer Self-Test:

  • Some HP printers have built-in diagnostic tools. Refer to the printer’s manual to run any available self-test or diagnostic functions.

6. Perform a Factory Reset

  • If possible, navigate to the printer’s settings menu.
  • Look for options to restore the printer to its factory settings. This may resolve configuration or software-related issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.
