I'm running windows 11 home and have an HP 8053e printer. Two weeks ago I was hacked and Best Buys cleaned out everything and after that my printer started to send all my print jobs to private print and I don't know how to fix it.

Welcome to the HP English Community --

 

Perhaps requiring Private Pickup is the default when things change suddenly.

It would act as a security measure in case you are not in control of the printer.

 

Open HP Smart

Open Printer Settings

Click Print Anywhere and set Private Pickup ON or OFF

and / or

 

 “HP Smart / HP Connected” - Printers added to ePrint / Print Anywhere

Management / Options
