I purchased an Office Jet Pro 9125e from Best Buy. Windows 11.
When it is powered on it takes more than a minute to be ready. That is not bad, but during that minute is moves internal hardware and sounds like something is hitting the physical stops rather hard. It sounds harsher than expected for normal startup checks.
When I power it off, it requires multiple presses of the power button. It usually takes four slow presses before it displays the shutdown message.
Are both of these normal behavior?

The first behavior is normal.
The second behavior, here you are making a mistake.
You just have to keep your finger on the off/on switch until the printer shuts down.
A short press is always ignored. Why, to prevent an accidental shutdown.
Kind Regards
