So I have a 2620 deskjet printer that only prints blank pages. I've scanned/diagnosed it with hp smart and it reported no problems. There's enough ink and all that. Edit: And I've got all the latest drivers. I ran HP print and scan doctor too, no help
Edit 2: With the HP print and scan doctor I managed to print a test page, but the black color was faded. Also, when I try to print a "normal" text document, the page is still blank.
Edit 3: So it can print colors just fine, i printed a text document when i made the text red. But the black color is still not working. I'm guessing the issue is the ink cartridge?
When I first turned the printer on, it printed - automatically - a page that said "important!" and there were a couple of arrows and an exclamation point within a triangle - this was all in red - and then a bunch of small blue rectangles. I've no idea what that meant.
So what can I do?

@kjsabjrlkjbfsg, Welcome to HP Support Community!
If you have already performed the steps from the document Color or Black Ink Not Printing and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
Hope this helps!
