Hi @westy77
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
When the power light, resume light, and the info light on the HP DeskJet 2722 All-in-One Printer blink simultaneously, it often indicates an issue that needs attention.
Here's a guide to help you resolve this:
Check for Error Messages:
- Usually, when these lights blink, a specific error message related to the printer's status might be displayed on your computer screen. Look for any popup notifications that might give a hint about the issue.
Printer Cartridges:
- Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed. Sometimes, blinking lights could mean the cartridge is not sitting correctly. Re-seat both the black and tri-color cartridges and ensure they click into place.
Paper Jam or Feed Issues:
- Confirm there are no paper jams or feed issues. Remove all paper from the input tray, check the printer pathways for any obstructions or stuck paper, and reload the paper properly.
Printer Connection and USB Cable:
- Ensure the printer is properly connected to the computer or network. If using a USB cable, make sure it's securely plugged into both the printer and the computer.
Firmware Update:
- A firmware update might resolve the issue if it is related to software. Check the HP support website for any available updates for the DeskJet 2722.
Reset the Printer:
- A printer reset can sometimes clear error conditions.
- Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord from the rear and the wall socket.
- Wait about 60 seconds, then reconnect the power and turn on the printer.
Let me know if this helps.
